These Terms govern your use of Chatpata. By creating an account or joining a room, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
01 The game
Chatpata is a real-time multiplayer bluffing trivia game with India-only content. Rooms, prompts, bluffs, and voting are provided as-is and may change, be paused, or be discontinued at any time — we'll try to give notice where reasonably possible.
02 Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Chatpata.
- You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Anonymous guest play is available and doesn't require an email address.
03 Your content
Anything you submit — bluffs, custom questions, your avatar or Busted Card photo — stays yours. By submitting it, you grant us a license to store, display, and show it to other players in your room or match, solely to run the game. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share, or that's abusive, hateful, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate for a group setting — we can remove content or suspend accounts that violate this.
04 Purchases
Any in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms. Purchases unlock in-app content only, have no cash value, and aren't transferable between accounts. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google per their standard policies.
05 Acceptable use
- Don't cheat, exploit bugs, or automate gameplay.
- Don't harass other players or use the game to share illegal content.
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
06 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You can stop using Chatpata and request account deletion at any time — see Privacy Policy for how.
07 Disclaimers & liability
Chatpata is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
08 Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
