devIndi is an independent software studio run by Tushar Dalal in India. This page applies to every devIndi app and to devindi.in. Each app also has its own terms and privacy policy, and where they say something more specific, they take priority.
01 Software is provided as is
We test our apps carefully and use them every day, but no software is perfect. Our apps are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep backups of files that matter to you.
02 Automatic features can miss things
Some features work automatically: text recognition, finding and hiding private information in screenshots, and converting files between formats. They are very useful but not infallible. Always check the result before you rely on it or share it, especially when it contains personal or confidential information.
03 Made with AI
Our apps are designed and written with the help of AI coding tools, then reviewed, tested and refined by hand before release. "Made with AI" describes how the software is built. It does not mean your files are sent to an AI service: our released apps work on your own computer, and each app's privacy policy says exactly what, if anything, it sends online.
04 Apps in testing
Apps marked "In testing" on this site are experimental and not released. Their descriptions show what we are building, may change before launch, and are not an offer to sell. We don't promise that any of them will be released or when.
05 Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are set in Indian rupees. Where a page shows an estimate in your own currency, it uses a public exchange-rate service and is approximate; your bank's rate decides what you actually pay. Sales tax or VAT is calculated and added at checkout by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record.
06 Trademarks and affiliation
Microsoft, Windows and other product names mentioned on this site belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. devIndi is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft or any other company named here. Lemon Squeezy processes our orders as a reseller.
07 Other websites and services
This site links to and uses services run by others, such as Lemon Squeezy for checkout and GitHub for downloads. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we aren't responsible for their content or availability.
08 Information only
Content on this site, including guides and examples, is general information about our apps. It isn't legal, financial, security or other professional advice.
09 Your rights
