Terms & refunds
These terms cover buying and using Shotly, made by devIndi (Tushar Dalal, India). The short version: buy once, use it on up to 3 of your PCs, get every 1.x update, and get your money back within 14 days if it isn't for you.
01 Your license
- One purchase gives you a personal license key for Shotly version 1, with no time limit.
- You can activate it on up to 3 Windows PCs that you use. Moving to a new PC? Deactivate the old one in Shotly › Settings › License, or write to us.
- All version 1.x updates are included. If a future major version is sold separately, your version 1 keeps working.
- Buying for a team? One license per person. Write to us for several at once.
02 What you can't do
- Share, publish or resell your license key or the installer.
- Remove or get around the license check, or reverse-engineer the app to do so.
- Use Shotly for anything unlawful, such as capturing content you have no right to record.
If a key is shared publicly or obtained by fraud, we may disable it.
03 Payment and taxes
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, issues your invoice and sends your download link and license key by email. Its buyer terms apply to the payment itself.
04 Refunds
Not happy? Get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Reply to your receipt email or write to reach@devindi.in with your order number. The refund goes back to your original payment method through Lemon Squeezy, and the license key is deactivated.
After 14 days we'll still help if something is broken, and refund at our discretion. This doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
05 Requirements and support
Shotly runs on 64-bit Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) and Windows 11. Try it on your setup within the refund window. Help is by email at reach@devindi.in; we usually reply within two working days.
06 No warranty
We work hard to make Shotly reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Text recognition and private-info detection are automatic and can miss things, so always check a screenshot before you share it.
07 Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, devIndi isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or profits, from using Shotly. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
08 Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we change them, the new version applies to purchases made after the date above; the license you bought keeps the terms it was sold under.
