SlipTide is a free torrent client for Windows made by devIndi. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms. They're short because the app is simple.
01 Licence
SlipTide is free, open-source software released under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify and share it. The complete source code is available as a download.
02 What you share is your responsibility
- SlipTide is a general-purpose tool for sharing files, like a web browser or an FTP client. Only download and share content you have the right to, such as open-source software, public-domain or Creative Commons works, and your own files. Downloading or sharing copyrighted material without permission may be illegal where you live.
- devIndi doesn't host, index, search for or recommend any torrents, and has no control over what other people share.
- Files from other peers can contain anything. Treat downloaded programs with the same care as any file from the internet, and scan them before you run them.
- On a computer you don't own, such as a work or school laptop, follow that organisation's rules. Many don't allow torrent apps.
- Remove → Also delete downloaded files permanently deletes those files from your disk. Keep backups of anything important.
03 No warranty
SlipTide is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, as set out in the MIT License. To the extent permitted by law, devIndi isn't liable for data loss, network charges or other damage arising from using it.

SlipTide is built on the work of other open-source projects, each under its own licence:
