01 Information we collect

Account. An email address (or anonymous sign-in) to keep your data yours across devices.

Your tasks & Regulars. What you capture — tasks, notes, scheduled Priority-1 items, and recurring "Regulars" — is stored so Lantern can build Today's list and remember what carries forward.

Voice capture. If you use voice-to-text to add a task, your speech is sent to a speech-recognition service to be transcribed into text; we store the resulting text, not an audio recording.

Morning check-ins. Your energy check-in responses, used only to shape that day's capacity.

Notifications. A device push token, so nudges can reach you — you can turn these off in your device settings at any time.

Device & diagnostic data. App version, rough device type, and crash logs, used only to keep the app working.

02 How we use it

• Build and persist your daily task list, Today's cap, and Regulars across sessions and devices.
• Transcribe voice capture into a task, then discard the audio.
• Send you the nudges and reminders you've enabled.
• Diagnose crashes and improve reliability.

Your tasks are personal — we don't read them for advertising, and we don't sell your data. Anything you mark for AI breakdown is only sent for that specific request, never used to build a profile of you.

03 Where it's stored

Lantern runs on Supabase (hosted Postgres + Auth), with row-level security so only you can read or write your own tasks and Regulars. Data is encrypted in transit.

04 Your choices

• Type instead of speaking — voice capture is entirely optional.
• Turn off nudges and notifications in your device settings.
• Request an export or deletion of your data at any time — see contact below.

05 Children's privacy

Lantern is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

06 Changes to this policy

If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you in-app.
