These Terms govern your use of Lantern. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
01 The app
Lantern is a daily-structure companion for time-blind and ADHD-friendly focus. It's provided as-is and may change over time as we refine the capture, Today-cap, and nudge system.
02 Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Lantern.
- You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account.
03 Your content
Your tasks, notes, and Regulars are yours. We store them to run the app's core loop and don't use them for advertising or share them with third parties beyond what's described in the Privacy Policy. Voice capture is transcribed to text on your request and the underlying audio is not retained.
04 Not medical advice
Lantern is a focus and organization tool, not a medical device or a diagnosis, treatment, or advice service for ADHD or any other condition. If you have concerns about executive function or attention, talk to a qualified professional.
05 Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
- Don't use the app for anything unlawful.
06 Termination
You can stop using Lantern and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend access if these Terms are violated.
07 Disclaimers & liability
Lantern is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
08 Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
