These Terms govern your use of Waypoint. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
01 The app
Waypoint is a cross-platform task manager with explicit task lifecycle states (Active, Suspended, Completed, Deleted), tags, priority, and comments. It's provided as-is and may change over time.
02 Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Waypoint.
- Waypoint uses a username and password rather than email — you're responsible for keeping both secure and for activity under your account.
03 Your content
Your tasks, tags, and comments are yours. We store and sync them across your devices to run the app and don't use them for advertising or share them with third parties beyond what's described in the Privacy Policy. Third-party "hold" notes are free text you type — they don't create an account for anyone else or notify them.
04 Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
- Don't use the app to store or share unlawful content.
05 Termination
You can stop using Waypoint and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend access if these Terms are violated.
06 Disclaimers & liability
Waypoint is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of task data — we recommend not treating any single copy of your data as your only backup.
07 Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
